About Zoology Department

Department of Zoology started since the establishment of College took place. The Department of Zoology is running smoothly and students are getting subject knowledge in Department. This department is having good facility of equipment for practical purposes. The Department has been good result in Zoology subject. The faculty of the department is qualified. This department of Zoology offers a three year B.Sc. degree programme in several areas such as life and diversity of non-chordate, cell and developmental biology, animal physiology and economic zoology and molecular biology and biotechnology. The admission of local candidates are first come basis, the advertisement is put up print media. The first semester starts around the beginning of July. As NEP 2020 is being impossed by Government accepted, Department of Zoology successfully run Certificate course since last few years. The course “Freshwater Aquaculture Farmer” Approved and granted by Skill India -National Skill Qualification Frame (NSQF) Affiliated to Agriculture Skill Council of India. Department of Zoology successfully completed two batches and current batch is on the way with good result also.
