Electronics is the study & use of devises that control the flow of electrons (or other charged particals). These devises can be used to processed information or perform task using electromagnetic power. Electronic circuits can be found in numerous household products, including such items as Telephones, Computers, & Television, CD players Etc. Electronic devises have also allow greatly increased accuracy in Scientific Measurements.
Interest in the field of electronics increase around 1900 & advent of radio. Interest reach & all time high in the 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s with the invention of transistors radios, the launch of sputnik, & the science and Maths educational push to win the space race. Electronics comprises the Physics, Engineering, Technology & Applications that deal with the emission, flow & control of electrons in vacuum & matter. Electronics had a major effect on the development of modern society. Electronics is widely used in information processing, telecommunication & Signal processing. The ability of electronic devises to act as switches makes digital information processing possible. Some use of computers for play, but all around the world, computers are used for research that save lives. They are used in hospitals to provides information in seconds, that save lives. Much of the equipment used in hospitals are electronic devises like, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Electromyograme (EMG), Electro-enthalograme (EEG), X-ray Machine, CT scan, MRI, etc. The Phone & other appliances are important for us to communicate to one another. This all are the inventions of Electronics subject.
